Coaching

coaching“Lonely at the top resonates for most CEOs,” reports a 2013 Executive Coaching Survey by the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Almost two-thirds of CEOs and nearly half of senior executives aren’t getting leadership advice. However, most want it, and their boards want them to receive it. Talent development, managing conflict, team building, leadership, mentoring, succession planning and delegation are areas that many top leaders want to enhance.

Leadership coaching is an investment in an organization—leaders directly impact staff performance and the bottom line.

Leadership Coach Tracey S. McCarthy helps leaders cultivate the high-level skills needed to excel and benefit their organizations, much the way athletes use coaches and trainers. The abilities to motivate, persuade, and empathize with others become more important as executives climb the corporate ladder.

Coaching sessions are flexible and can occur face-to-face at the client’s office or by various electronic means. The coaching process may include assessments, exercises, and written assignments. Coaching contracts typically run from three to six months or more, depending upon individual and organizational needs.

Tracey uses the breadth of her experience, skills, insight, enthusiasm, passion and humor to make it a little less lonely at the top.

Testimonials

“Tracey provides insightful solutions to real-world problems. Her upbeat demeanor and optimism always shone through as she advised me on several strategic issues to help me to grow my institution, just as she was serious and direct in advising me on how to deal with the unavoidable administrative and staffing issues that arise in the course of doing business. All around, she was a huge help and I highly recommend her services!”

“Tracey coached an employee who was recently promoted to senior staff. He had great technical knowledge, but limited leadership experience. In six months he was communicating effectively with his team and showed promising growth as a leader.”

“We brought Tracey in to coach senior staff who were having an interpersonal conflict that affected their departments and the entire organization. She was able to help them repair their relationship. Today they are trusted colleagues and effective collaborators.”
